According to news reports on Friday -- the 2009 monsoon season is coming to an end.
The monsoon rains are extremely important to India -- and this year has been bad, the rains came very late and many farmers have been hit hard. The following articles are eye-openers and I will admit that I feel like an idiot for complaining about the rain and the impact to my travel plans when so many people are suffering.
