Lawn Care



One of the interesting things of being in country with 1 billion people is that a lot of tasks that we have "automated" are still done by hand -- for example, I rarely see power lawn mowers here, instead you'll see people cutting grass with hand-pushed mowers or even with scissors --- it's hard to see in the attached picture, but that's what he's doing (pic was taken at Corbett National Park). People also use hands brooms to rake lawns -- doesn't seem very efficient, but I guess it works for them.
