Bangalore Fashion Week

On Sunday night, Jann (TWer) and I "crashed" the Bangalore Fashion Week held in Electronic City. This is the first time that Bangalore has held a Fashion Week -- and we thought it would be interesting to attend. The whole thing is invite only --- with invitations extended to buyers, the press, and the "in" crowd. We decided that going as press was our best chance -- and it worked! We said that we worked for ThoughtWorks Press Journal -- and gave them our business cards -- they asked a few questions --- and then agreed to give us 1 pass for the 2 of us to share.

So we spent the next couple of hours there -- it was great fun --- watched a couple of runway shows for local designers and then spent the rest of the time people-watching (which was brilliant!).
