There is a lot of traffic in Bangalore -- seemingly all the time. Cars, auto rickshaws, motorcycle, and even the occasional horse or cow. Lot of honking also, people honk to let them know they are approaching another vehicle, they honk in response to honks, and they honk to tell people to get out of their way. It's a good thing traffic doesn't move to fast -- or I think there would be lots of accidents.
Walked around central Bangalore today. Stopped in Garuda Mall --- not quite the same size as a mall in the USA, but pretty much the same concept (including food court and movie theater). Lots of power outages today, 4 of them while I was in the mall and all day in the apartment complex (10:30 am - 5 pm). Really appreciate those backup generators!
Looks green and fairly cool--what's the temp during the day?
ReplyDeleteThe weather has been beautiful -- low 80s during the day and mid 60s at night (still can't think in celsius). And with the rains (usually 1x a day) everything is nice and green.
