As I've mentioned in earlier blogs, one of the things you need to get to used to in India is people staring at you, wanting to take your picture, etc. For the most part, it's done in a nice way and it isn't annoying -- they are just curious. At the temple in Halebid, there were several groups of schoolchildren there and they were fascinated by us -- some wanted to just shake our hands, others asked if they could take our picture, while others wanted us to take pictures of them -- we obliged to all requests. The photos here are (1) girls who wanted to take our picture and then had to hunt down a camera, (2) Adam posing for them as if he were a celebrity, (3) boys who wanted us to take their picture.

Halebid - Celebrities?
