Flying is still a big event in India. The above picture was taken at the Bangalore airport -- notice the people up on the hill watching the planes land / take-off. The airport is always packed -- and most of the people aren't flying, they are seeing someone off (maybe that's why only ticketed passengers are allowed into the airport).
