Situated at 8,250 ft. in the Himalayas. Wildflower Hall is a beautiful hotel set in 22 acres of virgin woods of pine and cedar. The hotel was constructed on the site of the summer residence of Lord Kitchener. The original building was located higher up than the present building. After it burned down, a second building was constructed at the present side. The hall has been a hotel since 1925. In 1993, the building burned down again -- and was rebuilt by the Oberoi Hotel Group.
From the dining room at Wildflower Hall, you can see the Pir Panjal Himalayan range including 3 peaks: Deo Tibha (19,687), Rakt Dhar (20,100), and Badrinath (23,190 ft). The views were spectacular -- especially in the morning.
