Jaipur - City Palace - Silver Jar

In the front of Diwan-I-Khas, there are two huge sterling silver vessels -- capacity of 4,000 liters each (and weight of 750 lbs). They were specially made for Maharaja Sawak Madho Singh II so that he could carry Ganges river water to drink on his trip to England in 1901 (he was afraid the water in London would make him sick). The vessels were made from 14,000 melted silver coins and are officially recorded by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's largest sterling silver vessels.
