The cottages at Baghvan were superb. Each cottage had two rooms and a deck looking out into the woods. The best part of the room was the machan* -- sort of like a tree fort (but much nicer!) -- I spent most of the day up there reading and napping -- the ceiling fan kept it nice and cool. The second best part was the outside shower (and even nicer that there was also an inside shower -- because showering outside at night in a jungle is a bit creepy).
*Machan - a kind of safety platform in a tree used when hunting big animals such as tigers and leopards; found most commonly in Indian jungles
